The more technical side of the studio. In my first years as an architect I specialised in architectural heritage and installations.

In architectural heritage I was a pre-doctoral researcher at the Polytechnic University of Cartagena. There I collaborated on such interesting projects as the Master Plan for the Santa María la Mayor Church in Cartagena and the Old Cathedral. In that work we made a complete three-dimensional survey of the whole building, including its Roman cistern or the foundations of Roman villas. This period of research gave me extensive knowledge in pathologies and publications and international exhibitions such as the CIPA Congress in 2020.

I specialised in architectural installations in collaboration with other colleagues. I have always liked and still enjoy these projects very much. Electrical, ventilation, air conditioning or telecommunications projects. I have been a teacher in the Official College of Architects of Murcia in this field, for example.

In addition to this, my work as an architect specialising in pathologies and as a legal expert has given me a certain knowledge of legislation. Multiple jobs solving sanctioning of clients or days of lawyer’s conversations have made me know the regional laws and the legal system acceptably.

Context

I define myself as a restless and committed person. Thanks to my persistence, even when things get complicated, I fight to get things done. This is why I founded Leukos together with my partner to give confidence to people who, without being architects, always have an idea of how to live and what they need.

In the past I have done a lot of research at university level. Architectural aesthetics and composition or the digitisation and conservation of historical heritage have been my hobbyhorses for years.

Nowadays I combine my vocation as an architect with that of a university lecturer, but my focus is on making Leukos Arquitectura a reference studio for more and more people.
