If you are thinking of or are going to open a business, you will almost certainly need an opening license for the premises or office.
We are aware that opening a business is not easy (after all, we have a business too). For this reason, we put all our efforts into finalizing the opening licenses as soon as possible.
If you need an opening license in Alicante, we almost certainly have good news for you.
The license will most likely have the responsible statement format, so it is “approved” at the same time the documentation is submitted. We present everything, pay the fees and you’ll be able to open your business the next day.
Like almost everyone, the bureaucracy and the different regulations that refer to each other and are so difficult to understand and don’t make the task any easier.
For this reason, at Leukos we have the license presentation and management service at the town hall. This way, you can dedicate yourself to the rest of the tasks to open your business, without worrying about anything else.

In this type of licenses we offer the following:
- Your opening license from 400€ + VAT. The cost of the license will vary depending on the area of the premises and the type of business to be developed.
- We manage the license for free. We present the license for you at the town hall, we deliver it to you already fully valid.
- All documentation, signed by architects.
- 10% discount if you contract other projects or licenses with the license.
How much does an activity license in Alicante costs?
The fee for the activity license in Alicante will depend on many different variables. We leave you here the different costs according to the business:
- A prior deposit of the partial amount of the fee is established, according to the different types of processing of the files. These payments on account will be deducted from the final settlement of the license fee for opening establishments. The amount is as follows:
- Activities not subject to Law 4/2009 300€
- Activities subject to the procedure established in Law 4/2009 570€
- Responsible statement and prior communication of the exercise of the activity 300€.
- The general rate would be as follows:
- In establishments or premises not subject to the procedures established in Law 4/2009 of May 14, on integrated environmental protection:
- For a single activity, 250% of the rate of the Tax on Economic Activities.
- In the case of two or more activities, 225% of the rate of the Tax on Economic Activities.
- In any case, a minimum fee for the license to open establishments is established for harmless activities of 300€
- In establishments subject to the procedure established in Law 4/2009 of May 14, on integrated environmental protection:
- For a single activity, 250% of the rate of the Tax on Economic Activities, plus an increase of 60% of the result of the previous amount.
- In the case of two or more activities, 225% of the rate of the Tax on Economic Activities, plus an increase of 60% of the result of the previous amount.
- In any case, a minimum Fee for the License to Open Establishments is established for Classified activities of 570€
- The special rates are the following:
- Branches of Banks and Savings Banks……….6.500€
- Dance halls, games of chance, cinemas, theaters and the like………..4.000€
- Vehicle rental companies……….4.000€
- Hotels, hostels, boarding houses and the like….350% of the rate of the Tax on Economic Activities, plus 60% of the previous amount.
- Restaurants, cafes and bars, fixed fee of……….1.200€
- Musical Pub……….3.000€
- Service stations……….6.500€
- Supermarkets – Hypermarkets, medium and large surfaces:
- From 301m2 to 900m2. General base, plus 7€ for each square meter or fraction
- From 901m2 onwards……….6.000€ plus 12€ for each square meter or fraction
- Telephone booths……….16.000€
- Night-club and similar……….18.000€
- Cyber……….6.000€
- For each radio station……….3.000€
- Establishments or premises not subject to the tax on economic activities.
- For activities that are subject to Law 4/2009 of May 14 of the Region of Murcia……….1.20€ per square meter and a minimum amount of 570€
- For activities not subject to this law……….1.20€ per square meter and a minimum amount of 300€

I was looking for a technical architecture firm for a problem I had with a parking space, where the local council indicated that I was in breach of the relevant regulations. I spoke to Francisco Joaquin of LeuKos who agreed to review the whole case, visit the garage and submit an action plan which included a detailed technical report as an allegation, proving that the garage was in compliance with the regulations. The action plan also included the online submission of the corresponding allegations. I must point out that everything has been done telematically, as I am hundreds of kilometres away and the changing situation of perimetral confinement in the region of Murcia has prevented me from travelling.
